Meet the Team

Marissa

Founder and Owner Marissa has had a deep passion for caring for babies from a very young age. The vision for Nurturing Newborns and Infant Care came to life during one of the most defining moments of her journey. After dedicating years to her college education, Marissa made the incredibly difficult decision to walk away before completing her degree and fully pursue the calling she felt placed on her heart. It was not an easy choice—but it was the right one. After leaving college without graduating, she chose to follow her passion. That decision changed everything, leading her to build a career centered around nurturing families and their newborns, and ultimately creating the company she continues to pour her heart into today. Her passion has never faded—it has only deepened with every family she serves.

Through her experience working with high-profile families and medically sensitive infants, Marissa saw firsthand the overwhelming need for trusted, around-the-clock newborn care. Supporting premature babies, medically complex infants, and families navigating the early stages of parenthood only strengthened her desire to do more. “There was such a need for 24-hour care for these families that it sparked the idea of launching a company,” she shares.

Today, Nurturing Newborns and Infant Care is built on a team of highly trained and compassionate professionals, including Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Newborn Care Specialists, and Postpartum Doulas. While Marissa herself is not a Licensed Registered Nurse, she can provide RNs for expert support for premature babies, medically complex infants, babies with reflux, healthy newborns, multiples, and families seeking guidance in sleep shaping, overnight support, and lactation.
